You were my escape, all I wanted was to cherish each moments of our togetherness. Savor the empty space between us. The loveseat, the movies, the dream berry, the phone line; all bringing our bodies closer -and- closer. Our eyes making love to each other at every glance. Life happens. Just as the four seasons take turn around the western hemisphere, so do the tribulations of our existence. They come and go irrespective of our degrees of spirituality or lack thereof. The Goliath-like seasons are the hardest especially when they appear to be interminable. You toss the towel, then a bewildering disquiet fills the space with sentiments of shame and guilt. You become blinded by the overwhelming torments, that impossibility comes to be self-evident.

This morning, like few of them lately, carries so much uncertainties. I know philosopher Bob Proctor will disagree. In the Law of Attraction, he believes that there is no such thing as uncertainty. There is only the law that decrees that the image we create of our life, in our mind, does indeed come to materialize in the natural realm, if we remain faithful to it. A woman asked: Women nowadays are marrying later and having fewer children. Others aren’t marrying at all. Rather than raising a family, they choose their education and their career. Meanwhile, there are women who believe and still practice traditional gender roles. Does this make them anti-feminists? As a woman, would you be against the equality of men and women?
